A fresh fire broke out at Japan's stricken Fukushima nuclear power plant this morning, while a strong aftershock hit the east of the country.
The Reuters news agency quoted the plant's operators as saying crews had been brought in to fight a fire at Fukushima's No. 4 reactor.
A spokesman for the plant's operators TEPCO said flames and smoke were "no longer visible" but said the company was waiting for further details on whether the fire had been extinguished completely.
